We are looking for an individual that can implement innovative quality initiatives that will support development and low-rate engine production.Responsibilities:Establish and improve and maintain quality system processes that support products in development and production environmentsMeasure, analyze, and improve quality system performance consistent with organization quality goalsIntegrate quality system applications between engineering, manufacturing, and operations to ensure the consistent and ongoing use of quality best practices and communication of quality issuesFacilitate troubleshooting of quality issues with diverse teams, lead causal analysis activities to drive to root cause and corrective actionPerform periodic audits of the application of our quality systemParticipate in engineering design reviews and make recommendations to enhance the quality and manufacturability of new designsRecommend initiatives and/or changes that will improve product and system qualityProvide quality assurance subject matter expertise to receiving and inspection, manufacturing and testParticipate in hardware acceptance processes; ensure adherence to and health of acceptance processesMaintain working knowledge of NDE and receiving inspection methodologiesMonitor the metrology program to ensure precision and accuracy of production, measurement, and testing equipmentQualifications:Must be able to support B shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 1pm-9:30pm PSTMinimum of a B.S. in engineering or science2+ years' industry experience in the engineering field with at least 2 years in a quality engineer roleQuality assurance experience in production environment (Aerospace, space launch, or military or commercial aviation preferred).Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Desired:Relevant experience in transitioning a product from development, through production to operationsRelevant experience in AS9145, Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval ProcessQuality Management System audit experienceFamiliarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management System and/or related quality systems and programsQuality performance measurement analysis capabilitiesAmerican Society of Quality, Certified Quality Engineer certificationSix Sigma Green, Black Belt, or comparable certificationCompensation range for on site WA applicants is$83,070---$116,298 USDInclusivity StatementDon't meet all desired requirements?
