Job Description
Oracle NetSuite is looking for a Software Engineer in Test to work on the team tasked with building and extending the OpenAir Professional Services Automation Product to handle the growing needs of our largest customers.
The candidate must be an extremely bright, articulate, and accomplished problem solver, capable of troubleshooting complex software application problems. They must possess good technical knowledge of computer systems and software. Strong business aptitude/experience is a huge plus. The candidate must be prepared to work in a high-demand environment, building and supporting Enterprise level business software with a global client base.
Responsibilities:
Design and execute test plans (both automated and manual).
Contribute to the analysis of functional requirements as part of a Scrum team.
Participate in engineering initiatives.
Investigate, reproduce, and analyze customer reported software defects.
Adopt and promote solid software development and test-driven practices within group.
Write automated tests, promoting clean and readable code.
Must have:
B.S. degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent in work experience and self-study.
Minimum 2-3 years of previous work experience in software QA.
Strong communication skills.
Organized and reliable, attentive to detail, able to efficiently manage multiple tasks.
Fluent or near fluent level of English (written and verbal).
Knowledge and understanding of Agile/Scrum.
Enthusiasm about exploratory testing and scrubbing (processing incoming defects).
Good knowledge of test methodologies and industry standard test tools and frameworks.
Willingness and ability to learn test automation (we use Webdriver/Selenium, Robot Framework).
Basic ability to use Linux/Unix command line.
Ability to write common SQL queries.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, Perl,
Experience with system administration.
Experience with performance testing.
Experience with API testing.
Experience with Selenium/Webdriver.
Experience with source control systems (preferably Git).
Experience with TDD/BDD approach (Robot Framework).
Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity.
ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
Background/coursework in accounting or business management.
