This work is important in helping providersenroll in the Medicare program. In this role you will: Utilize on-lineMedicare files/systems to verify research, update, and documentenrollment information. Respond to provider/customer enrollmenttelephone and written inquiries. Ensure all provider enrollment data isproperly controlled and tracked to ensure applications are approved ordenied within standards of timeliness established by department andCenters for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Enter data intoon-line national database and internal provider files (PECOS). Researchand verify proper fees and inspections have been completed on certainsuppliers.
