Your Role: What you'll be doing
This engineering function provides engineering propulsion and fluidsanalysis, product technical support, and anomaly resolution for Propulsionfluids systems (cryogenic, non-cryogenic, hydraulics, and pneumatics).This function performs fluid analysis on various propulsion systems,including pressurization systems, feedline systems, propulsion systems(both cryogenic and non-cryogenic), and ground systems.The position requires fluid analysis capabilities as well as an understandingof propulsion design.These analyses include but are not limited to, fluid flow problems such asliquid and gas flow, pressure drop calculations, two-phase flow, andheat transfer calculations.Must interface with other groups, such as Thermal Analysis, PropulsionDesign, Flight Software, and Ground Systems.Provides direct support to other analysis groups, design groups, thefactory, and the launch site to ensure production schedules are met,anomalies are resolved, and operations are streamlined to improve efficiency.Continually looks for analysis process improvements that reduce cost and riskand/or improve vehicle performance.
Your Background: What education and experience you'll needRequires a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience.

A bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field from anaccredited college or university is required.Familiarity with fluids and thermodynamic analysis.Proficient with Microsoft Office platforms. Knowledge of Matlab and Simulinkmodeling is desired.Excellent communication skills (oral and written).

Summary Salary Range (Colorado Only)$67,969 - $106,263
Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guidelineonly. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience andqualifications, as well as internal equity, market and businessconsiderations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus inaddition to base pay.
