job summary:
An industry leading engineering firm is seeking a Project Manager to join it's team. They boast flexible work schedules, excellent PTO, bonuses, benefits and more!
As a Project Manager, you will act as client representative to manage the construction of industrial projects through the client system. You will act as a technical lead for capital projects, develop cost estimates, bid packages, and direct the work from start to finish. You will also utilize contractors to ensure all client specs and designs are met.
Travel up to 30% around the Northwest, Southeast, or Canada may .
Ideal candidates have a degree or coursework in construction engineering, construction management, project management, industrial maintenance or a related engineering field. You must also have 3 yrs+ experience overseeing projects and technical aspects of project work including equipment installation, constructability reviews, and superivsing construction.

responsibilities:
Facilitate as the client representative to plan and manage construction projects to provide a finished product that meets all aspects of owner's specifications and design
Coordinate and supervise construction process from conception to completion
Provide constructability reviews during the engineering design phases of the projects
Project development through construction and commissioning MS Project scedules
Develop capital project cost estimates and develop equipment vendor specifications for bidding and vendor selection
Interface with clients, contractors and Field Services team on project development and during construction
Review and respond to RFIs from vendors and construction contractors
Perform field cost estimating and Bill of Material documents
Direct project closeout activities at project completion
