  How will you make an impact in this role?

  Responsible for managing relationships with key merchant accounts within the Small Merchants portfolio. In this role will establish and build long-lasting relationships with these merchants through continued interface and dialogue regarding their business, business needs, and marketplace & industry challenges. Have to use strong consultative selling skills to increase Amex share, relevancy, and profitability, while having full acceptance. Also, will have responsibilities to maximize merchant Charge Volumes and new products development. This position will serve as a strong business partner by building merchant confidence and working with key decision makers within the account to increase their and Amex’s profitability. Further, by working collaboratively with other people and groups within Amex to determine the best products and services for merchants and by linking these with Amex marketing capabilities, processing, MIS, Reconciliation, Disputes and fraud prevention tools, will provide high quality, complete solutions that help your merchants optimize all the benefits of Card acceptance. The account executive will also negotiate Plan N acceleration rates and best promotions in products for our issuers, and brand exposure achieving the best win at point of sales.

  Besides, this role will lead, coordinate and measure results, conclusions and feedback from massive Spend stimulation campaigns (Opt in, Ahora12) in order to ensure profitability and promise delivery. This includes teamwork and alignment with internal teams (mkt, back office, business planning, TSC) and external teams (telesales, sales teams).

  Qualifications:

  Degree in Business Administration or finalizing this career or similar

  Capabilities in Autonomy, Problem Solving and Decision Making.

  English fully bilingual

  Strong team leader and team player.

  Must have strong negotiation skills, sales experience and logistic acumen.

  Availability to work virtual 50% feet on the street

  Excellent relationship management, consultative selling, and marketing skills and sales experience with a proven track record of successful results

  Very strong and demonstrated ability to influence collaboratively and sell-in programs, services, or ideas despite resistance & obstacles presented.

  Solid experience in developing & implementing innovative solutions to financial, operational, and other business problems, results oriented.

  Ability to adapt quickly to changing internal and external business conditions

  Deeply Competition knowledge and field expertise.

  Demonstrated technical, financial and analytical skills to effectively develop business relationships at CEO and CFO levels.

  Strategic, innovative and Creative thinking.

  Highly developed interpersonal skills.

  Must be able to manage work under pressure and effectively make business decisions.

  Excellent oral / written communication & presentation skills.

  Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
