Production Associate
Description
We are looking for a talented Production Associate to join our Manufacturing Upfit Center in Arlington, TX.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product in order to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer requirements and design specifications.
May perform production assembly, including drilling and bolting.
Interpret basic installation drawings and work as a team to accomplish installations.
Ability to read detailed equipment and part diagrams/prints of Cummins and OEM products and verify torque values referenced from established engineered guidelines.
Proactively identify and address inaccuracies within Production and assist other Team Members with corrections.
Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards, policies, procedures and regulations.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Mechanical knowledge required, ability to run assembly functions with limited supervision, engine experience preferred.
Ability to use power tools, remove/install external engine and generator components. Must own standard/basic tools or willing to purchase/invest in tools.
Must be comfortable working in a time-on task/production cell environment, working closely with Team Members to meet production goals and delivery targets. Must be able to physically lift 35 pounds frequently and unassisted.
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position does not require any Department of Transportation (DOT) related pre-screenings.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
