　　Position Title: Engineer, IT Data Sr.

　　Position Description: Define solution architecture that ensures solutions are built within consistent framework. Lead the migration of an on-premises data warehouse and ecosystem to a hybrid cloud environment. Demonstrate deep knowledge and skills to build and support batch and real time big data pipeline and technology capabilities on Microsoft Azure and Snowflake. Translate business requirements into technical requirements to ensure solutions meet business needs. Support Data Science workloads in data preparation and feature generation by reshaping, wrangling, and blending enterprise data into assets that support exploratory data science. Assist with root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and incident support for complex data and system issues. Develop and maintain documentation relating to all assigned systems and projects. Work in a fast-paced environment. Lastly, develop and drive multiple cross-departmental projects. Hybrid work schedule available with manager approval; must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Polaris’ office located in Plymouth, MN.

　　Position Qualifications: This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, management information systems, or related field, and 5 years of professional experience in an occupation relating to data and analytics. Additionally, a qualified applicant’s experience must include the following: (1) Experience using Microsoft Azure for Data and Analytics solutions in one of the following (Data Lake Store, Blob, SQL, Functions, Data Factory, Data Lake Analytics/USQL, Stream Analytics, Machine Learning); (2) Experience with Microsoft on-premise SQL Servers (SSIS) to support SQL environments for project and batch operations; (3) Experience using Power BI and SSRS to create new reports that align to business and functional requirements; (4) Coding experience with Java and/or .Net to help maintain existing Azure Functions on the data team; (5) Experience in using the Microsoft Azure cloud suite to create, support and maintain holistic data solutions; (6) Experience developing in Snowflake to create, performance tune, and maintain snow pipes, snow tasks, and stored procedures; (7) Experience in architecting data solutions for on-premises SQL and Snowflake environments; and (8) Experience in requirements gathering for data projects by working with stakeholders directly.
