Reporting to the Premium Audit Supervisor, the Premium Audit Reviewer is responsible for the quality and timely review of all premium audits, including complex, out-of-state and key accounts, in accordance with company, industry and government rules and regulations.
After an initial training period, the successful candidate will have the option to work remotely up to 2 days per week.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Verifies accuracy of the audit, enter data received, and refers them to management as needed• Prepare voluntary mail audits by verifying received data, which may include a review of financial records, to determine final premium• Handles 6 states and key account exposures• Communicates and interacts with incoming and outgoing calls with internal and external customers• Trains new Premium Audit Reviewers, which may include updating the Department’s Standard Operating Procedures• May be assigned other duties relating to the Premium Audit Department that will promote their growth and knowledge within the department • Provide office support such as mail distribution and maintaining office supplies for inside and outside staff• Ability to edit and reject audits in Policy Center• Ability to edit audit worksheets in Sharepoint as needed• Track the receipt of incoming audits from Independent Fee Companies• Verifies accuracy of incoming bills from Independent Fee Companies and submits check requests for payment• Assigns audits to Independent Fee Companies as needed in Policy Center, along with t gathering pertinent policy information to be emailed for handling• Process debit and credit memos in ACE system• Transfer audits between Auditors as needed• Responds to CRIB letters as needed• Monitors 2 department mailboxes for special handling• Compute premium discount percentages for rated with policies• Ability to utilize 5 manuals as reference guides • Prepare and issue monthly work to outside Auditors• Review SSRS reports for Mail Audits to be estimated daily• Complete policy changes for additional classes as needed on final audits• Identity possible SIU cases • Attendance: Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position • May act as a liaison between Premium Audit and contracted independent auditing companies• May participate in system testing for PolicyCenter enhancements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School diploma • Mathematical proficiency is required• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills• Ability to work in a team and independently• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and must be detail oriented • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office [Word, Excel, and Outlook] required• Experience with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) is preferred• Professional certifications such as an AINS or AIS are a plus
