As a Group Manager, Business Strategy, Equipment you will help transform the business- driving a step change in productivity, improving the customer and partner experience, supporting our sustainability goals and enhancing the quality of our food and beverage. You will help realize a disruptive ambition and big, iconic moves for Starbucks at scale, in engine strategy, equipment and packaging.
Leveraging your previous experience, we will enable you to:
· Drive the engagement, development and performance of all members of your team
· Drive holistic strategy and storytelling for equipment portfolio for a broad audience
· Identify innovation opportunities to build Starbucks competitive advantage by understanding consumers, partners and the marketplace
· Evaluate, prioritize and lead decisions regarding equipment innovation based on customer and partner need, financial viability, technical feasibility, sustainability goals and brand fit
· Lead cross functional teams through ambiguity to bring “big ideas” to life
· Be the business strategy lead for all international equipment project needs to ensure specific markets are supported
· Lead testing and roll out approach for equipment innovation to enable productivity improvements, cost savings and complexity reductions
· Automatously drive alignment across multiple senior leaders and influence cross functional teams to support new ideas and achieve ambitious enterprise goals
We’d love to hear from people with:
·Experience leading direct teams, with proven success in driving team engagement
·Proven ability to influence and mobilize peers, leaders, and cross functional teams to meet strategic objectives and drive effective execution
·A strength in driving clarity and organizational focus
·Skills to create and leverage strategy to lead highly complex, ambiguous business priorities with clear and compelling communication and plans to execute
·Success in creating a welcoming team environment, creating a culture in alignment with Starbucks Mission and Values
5-7 years – Progressive experience in product or brand management
3-5 years - Project leadership in a cross-functional environment
MBA preferred
