This position will repair and maintain pipelines, equipment, andperformance of work associated with the operation and maintenance of gas andliquid facilities and pipelines.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this positionare listed below:Inspect, maintain, and operate facilities including pipelines, valves,filters, pumps, gas compressors, storage tanks, and pump stationequipment in a reliable and efficient manner while in compliance with thePartnership's procedures and regulatory requirementsConduct Damage Prevention activities including pipeline patrols,one-calls, locating and marking pipelines, and inspecting linecrossings, excavations, and other activities affecting the pipelineMaintain working knowledge of regulatory requirements, perform requiredtasks, and complete associated documentation (OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.)Plan, organize, and prioritize assigned responsibilities and coordinatework with employees and contractorsCoordinate and communicate with outside parties including landowners, publicagencies, contractors, utilities, and other pipeline operatorsActively participate and provide leadership in safety programs and initiativesand follow policies and proceduresProvide on-call support for areas of responsibility on a rotating basisComply with partnership safety policies and proceduresPerform energy isolation lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO)
