　　Job Description:

　　Provides basic patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse. Serves as the patient’s ‘Personal Care Champion’ by assisting them with activities of

　　daily living. Performs a variety of clerical functions and tasks related to department specific needs. Provides high quality care to the following patient

　　populations: Critically ill medical/surgical and cardiac patients, over the age of 13, Medically unstable suicidal or overdose patient, over the age of 13.

　　Qualifications:

　　Required:

　　Iowa Certified Nurses Aide or recent course completion, passing test scores within 4 months of hire date

　　Maintains valid certification

　　Preferred:

　　Health care experience within the past five years preferred

　　Prefer computer classes/experience

　　Prefer Medical Terminology
