Patient Care Reviewer- Center For Quality

Shift: 08:00-16:30

Summary:

Coordinates and participates in specified data collection/abstraction/validation and analysis for internal and external quality, accreditation, or peer review process. Assists in revisions, audits, and validations to data collection/abstraction processes. Performs data analysis and dissemination of abstracted data. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Required:LPN with current licensure in the State of Ohio and at least two years of clinical work experience or RHIT with at least two years of Medical Records experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred:Registered Nurse with current licensure in the State of Ohio. Previous experience with data abstraction and/or medical review. Prior project management experience.Knowledge of personal computers (word-processing and spreadsheet use) and quantitative (data analysis) skills.

Physical Demands:May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating.May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing.Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
