The Spirit of the Position:Parking Ambassadors are an integral part of the LAZ Parking team. Positionsincludes greeting, collecting parking payments and directing traffic with alarge team. Staff will interface with customers and need to present a cheerydemeanor.Principal Job Duties:- Greet customers in a cheery manner and collect payments and provide paidticket stubs to guests.- Direct customers ahead to open stalls.- Engage with customers if asked questions.- Occasionally walk to count open spaces.- Wear provided uniform which includes pants, shirt, jacket, and hat.- Employees should wear their own comfortable outdoor shoes, an appropriatebase layer, and warm gloves for the colder nights.- Perform other duties as assigned.Education:High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.Experience:- Experience with cash handling.- Experience in customer service.Skills:- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.- Willingness to be flexible In what tasks you are doing- Must be able to work independently- Strong work ethic- Reliability- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.Physical Demands:- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.- Ability to stand and walk for several hours at a time- Ability to work outdoors in cold weatherThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must bemet by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of thisjob.
