About Office Manager

Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the construction industry for an Office Manager in Garden City, Idaho. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction industry and the ability to handle various administrative tasks such as answering phones, reviewing contracts, and scheduling crews. This role requires a minimum of two years of experience in a similar position and proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel Quickbooks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring smooth workflows and efficient processes

• Answer incoming calls, fielding inquiries and providing information as necessary

• Review and manage contracts, ensuring all details are accurate and up-to-date

• Schedule crews for various construction projects, ensuring efficient use of resources

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payments

• Provide back office support, assisting with various administrative tasks as needed

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel, to maintain records and generate reports

• Leverage knowledge of construction industry to communicate effectively with crews and clients

• Resolve customer service issues, providing prompt and professional assistance to clients

• Perform basic accounting functions, assisting with budgeting and financial reporting as needed

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook.

• In-depth understanding and experience with Accounting Functions.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Previous experience in an Administrative Office role.

• Experience in providing Back Office Support.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and technology.
