　　Location: Remote with up to 15% Travel to the following locations: Charleston, SC; Norfolk, VA; San Diego, CA; St. Louis, MO

　　What Will You Be Doing?

　　Subject Matter Expert assisting in the sustainment of the CANES (Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services) afloat network. This includes tier 3 support, replacement or maintenance of EOL or EOS hardware and software and identifying areas for improvement in deployed infrastructure.Plan, design, develop, implement, and provide technical support of multi-platform, multi-system networks that includes requirements analysis and optimizing network/system performance.Developing operational and installation documentation as required.

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or or related discipline.5+ years with network architectures with detailed understanding of network and security appliances. Equivalent Work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.Active Secret Clearance needed to start (Can hold up to a TS/SCI)US CitizenshipMust be 8570 IAT II compliant (i.e., Security+ CE).Desired: CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, and CISSP CertificationExperience with US Navy tactical networksExperience administering Cisco routers, switches, and firewallsExperience with VMware virtualization, server administration, wireless networkingExperience with network monitoring, enterprise network management, and incident responseExperience in Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket)

　　Installation, configuration, administer, and support of network appliancesProven ability to install and configure physical components, routers, switches, firewallsExpertise in network analysis, management, design, capacity, and throughput planningUtilizing network monitoring, management, and other tools to ensure network security and optimal performanceEffectively interact via good verbal and written communications with technical subject matter experts and program managers
