ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts.
Prepares equipment and aids Provider during treatment and examination of patient.
Gives injections or treatments, and performs routine laboratory tests under the direction of the Provider
Rooms patients in a timely manner with effective patient/Provider
Reviews patient medications and documents in chart at every visit.
Tracks procedures for results.
Initiates patient education as prescribed by Physician including patient and family instruction.
Participates in department quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI).
Minimum Qualifications : Completion of approved MA program with obtainment of State Certification; 3-6 months of related experience preferred. Completion of approved CNA program with obtainment of State Certification; 3-6 months of related experience preferred.
Schedule- Day Shift 36-40 hrs. /week
