Job Description

　　Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to sit in the Seating Engineering Department at one of our largest tech clients in the Bay Area. You will be responsible for Design Engineering from concept to End of Life, as well as problem solving of existing products. Commodities include structures, mechanisms, actuators, cushions, wire harnesses, controllers, sensors, software, trims and so on.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　-2+ years of hands on experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer

　　-Master's or Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent

　　-Hands on experience physically building something

　　-Experience designing for a mass manufactured product

　　-Experience designing with textiles, foams, plastic injection molding, sheet metal etc

　　-Experience using CATIA or other CAD tool -Automotive engineering with seating experience is preferred but not mandatory

　　-Design engineering experience with demonstrated interest in multidisciplinary engineering null
