　　Scope of Responsibility:

　　Materials and Planning manager’s responsibility is to ensure customer demand is met while optimizing assets of the plant. The primary accountabilities of the role include Production Planning, Planning of Raw and Pack Materials as per line scheduling, Plant Inventory control, Dispatch, Quality, EHS and FP&R. Also responsible for driving processes through systems there maximizing utilization of systems.

　　The Planning and Systems Manager is an effective and valuable member of the plant leadership team, to ensure delivery of subsidiary business results. The Material’s and Planning Manager works within a structure that requires considerable interface between the Network Operations team and Head office Customer Service & Logistics team.

　　Core Responsibilities

　　Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Materials and Planning Functions.

　　Ensure the highest level of Customer Service is provided.

　　Interface with Network Operations and CS&L team to resolve issues, align service, inventory and financial strategies.

　　Ensure greater utilization of SAP for planning and execution processes

　　Manages the people, and Logistics processes to deliver site performance objectives, as measured by corporate and local KPI's.

　　Accountable for adhering to Colgate-Palmolive, and governmental guidelines related to EHS, Quality, and Regulatory.

　　Empowers subordinates by way of training, information sharing, coaching, feedback, appraisals, and delegation, to ensure the development of people and organizational capabilities.

　　Acts as a functional resource, providing support on task forces and major project support.

　　Accountable for the integrity of the business processes related to finished goods inventory replenishment, and new product introductions.

　　Manages monthly production planning & inventory control as well as raw & packaging material planning works closely with Operations, Sourcing and Network Operations team.

　　Manages the production plan to be consistent with sales volume, marketing campaign and customer demands, to achieve business objectives, EHS policy and process simplification and standardization.

　　Manages the inventory level of RM/PM.

　　Manages SAP system for planning accuracy.

　　Estimates new machine and tool requirement as per volume increase plan for SriCity

　　Experience:

　　Over 8-12 years working in Supply Chain in any of Material’s Planning or Sourcing Departments

　　Education:

　　BE, Preferably Post Graduate in Supply Chain Management
