　　Our Global Shared Service – organization provides different important services for Siemens Unities in Central- and North Europe, and Germany. For our Purchase2Pay we are looking for Material Procurement Expert with English (Sourcing East Europe) as a new member of our existing team. Working with us, you have the foundation to develop personally and expertly.

　　Your role - future and results-oriented:

　　Manage sourcing of commodities like castings, steel fabrication and plastics, foster cross-functional alignment within area of responsibility.

　　Define and implement commodity and pooling strategies for responsible material field to exceed product costs.

　　Provide and ensure transparency on cost structures and spends in own area of responsibility.

　　Define and implement negotiation concepts and strategies to maximize savings, prepare and conduct negotiations.

　　Drive local / product specific approaches for supplier scouting and supply base development in alignment with global commodity strategy.

　　Management of supplier selection process (incl. documentation and communication of preferred suppliers).

　　Perform regular supplier qualification and supplier development to obtain and develop the best suppliers and to ensure an optimum supply chain .

　　Perform Market trend analysis and its utilization into commodity strategy.

　　Contribute to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems.

　　Your qualifications – confirmed and appropriate:

　　Experience in Direct materials procurement - at least 3 years;

　　Strategic thinking and analytical skills;

　　Cost & risk management skills;

　　Good communication skills as will be required to work with cross functional partners, including but not limited to Operations, Logistics, Product Management & Engineering;

　　Fluent language skills in English (spoken and written);

　　Travel readiness

　　German skills will be considered as an advantage;

　　Knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
