Nissha Medical Technologies is looking for a Material Handler to join ourColorado Springs Team.This position is responsible for receiving, storing and issuing equipment,material, supplies, merchandise or tools and compiling stock records instockroom, warehouse and/or storage yard by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES (other duties may be assigned)Follows all employee guidelines and Quality Systems Regulations (QSR's)as defined by Nissha Medical Technologies practices, policies and StandardOperating Procedures (SOP's) to ensure that customer requirements andFDA (or equivalent) regulations are met.Demonstrates knowledge and acts in accordance with NMT's Employee Guidelinesand applicable quality standards as outlined in NMT's Quality Manual.Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments.Filing of job sheets and general reqs when required.Receives parts into Stockroom. Counts, sorts, or weighs articles to verifyreceipt of items and stocks items.Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications, special handling orstorage.Cycle countingStores articles in bins, on floor or on shelves according to identifyinginformation such as style, size or type of material.Fills orders or issues supplies from stock including the pulling of job kits.Prepares periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stock.Reports on adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of ordamage to stock, location changes and refusal of shipments.Investigates inventory discrepancies and resolves.Maintains accurate inventory and other stock records to include Jobs Sheets,Inventory tags and maintaining records within the Visual system.General stockroom duties as required.Assists in the Receiving Area as required.Abides by all safety and security rules set forth by the company andregulatory agenciesRegular attendance.
REQUIREMENTS:A minimum of six months experience in material handling, warehouse orrelated work.High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)The ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence andmemos.The ability to write short correspondence.The ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groupsituations to customers, clients and employees of the organization.Basic Computer SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measureusing whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsThe ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed butuninvolved written and oral instructions.The ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables instandardized situations.
The established Compensation Range for this position will be $17.50 to$18.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
