As a Marketing Specialist on the Riot Publishing team, reporting to the head of Entertainment Marketing, you will support the team on all TV&Film and Music related product launches and marketing campaigns in a bid to harness the Entertainment business landscape and fan community in China. You’ll work closely with the LA-based Entertainment Publishing team, our external partners as well as third-party vendors to bring engaging Entertainment experiences to the players in China.
You have passion for our games, Entertainment or esports events, and love to push convention and have an ambitious spirit. You accept the unknown and you're able to come up with ground breaking initiatives that will take our relationship with fans and franchise partners to the next level.
You are also expected to uphold the best digital practices, working within Riot's social/content ecosystem and ensuring we're all pushing in the same direction and working from the same playbook when we talk to players on Riot's and our players' social channels.
Responsibilities:
Assist the team on developing the marketing plans for Arcane 2 and music beats that hit the mark in culturally relevant ways for our players and entertainment products' fans. Support the team in directing successful execution of campaigns and initiatives across all publishing elements including brand management, creative direction, social, influencer, paid media, PR and communications in collaboration with internal and external partners. Build relationships and create deeper collaboration between partner teams across Entertainment, games, esports, and more to contribute to the alignment of product priorities and how those products show up for players. Provide strategic direction to the streaming and external partners to support creative assets and ensure delivery of marketing materials is on message and brand. Liaise between Publishing and Entertainment, ensuring both Publishing and Entertainment representation in strategic product planning, audience opportunities, program management, and distribution considerations. Maintain stakeholder relationships and keep them informed of progress, risks and pivots across go-to-market campaigns. Use KPIs to measure and consistently help to improve marketing performance. Required Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on experience in marketing/social media/digital/advertising Expertise in developing, launching, and managing entertainment products and brands with insights of local TV/Film industry landscape, cultures as well as local audiences Speak and write fluent English and Chinese Utilize your suite of skills to level up your and your team's creative ideas based on meticulous analysis, metrics, and statistics For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players. Show good strategic thinking, being able to contribute ideas to the team from a macro perspective considering your partner and the market ecosystem; but at the same time, you show the same attention to details because you know that it is the details that make the difference A gamer and understanding of ACGN industry is a plus
