Shift Supervisor – 2nd Shift

　　As a Shift Supervisor, you will supervise and lead production team on shift in line with the Wisconsin site and local/state regulatory SHE requirements, quality and food safety standards as well as ensure fulfillment of the weekly production schedules in a cost-efficient manner. You will also provide motivation, guidance, and leadership to Production Operators to process, formulate and package products.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Supervises production team of up to 14 operators and ALO’s to create intermediate and finished goods ensuring compliance to DSM policies, SOP’s, cGMP’s, and all SHE requirements.

　　Drives day-to-day operation in a safe manner by understanding all ongoing activities (including maintenance, projects, etc.) to ensure meeting the 24-72 hr performance goals.

　　Determine priorities, assign tasks, and instruct teams about actions to be taken, including start-up and stoppage of the process or part thereof for the day and extending to week and months.

　　Responsible for timely and accurate communication towards management, shopfloor, and other stakeholders. Coordinates with Sr. Supervisor 1st shift to ensure continuity in plans and that they feedback to Sr. Supervisor the status and progress of the off shifts.

　　Develop and maintain a diverse and inclusive team.

　　You bring:

　　High school diploma or equivalent AND 5 years site production leadership experience (experience being a supervisor, lead or ALO) OR, 2-year degree AND 3 years in a production leadership role OR, 4-year degree AND 2 years in a production leadership role.

　　Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills in influencing peers to perform in an exemplary manner.

　　Ability to generate and coordinate continuous improvement and work in a team environment.

　　Knowledge to perform responsibilities with minimal guidance.

　　Proficiency in basic IT tools (e.g. Excel)
