  This position functions as a national clinical lead responsible for helping toset our clinical strategy, driving high-quality outcomes and patientsafety, and overseeing clinical education.This position will also generallyelevate the strength of nursing/clinical services. The Manager isresponsible for collaborating with partner hospitals and clinical operationsleadership to ensure clinical and service quality, best practices, andevidence-based care and services. There is also the opportunity forinter-professional collaboration with peer group departments like Risk,Survey Outcome Support, Office of CMO, etc

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectationsof this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.QualityDrive best-in-class quality outcomesDrive Programs meant to increase awareness of patient safetyLead continuous quality improvement activitiesMonitor and report on adverse occurrence investigation processEnsure adherence to clinical policy and procedure via education programs andsetting standards - complete gap assessment based on outcomes with actionplans for improvement where necessaryIdentify issues that require the establishment of clinical policies andprocedures or recommend modification to existing policies and proceduresEnsure all new clinical teammates complete the appropriate trainingEnsure the timely completion of ongoing clinical trainingDirect the implementation of training materials/revisions from the nationaleducation teamIdentify and communicate professional development needs across the region andensure a continuing clinical education program is in placeCompliance/RegulatoryEnsure all new and existing hospital programs exceed state/federalrequirementsEnsures Compliance with "The Joint Commission".Ensure adherence to the DaVita compliance programEnsure that proper documentation is submitted when required to the appropriateregulatory agenciesProvide oversight of the audit process(s) to ensure regulatory complianceand consistency in approachAssist in developing action plans and strategies for addressing deficienciesin partnership with operations managementEnsure compliance with all laws, regulations and practice guidelines thatimpact nursing practiceManagement and LeadershipDevelop a collaborative and unified teamDeliver and manage performance framework to clearly articulate clinicalmetrics.Leverage opportunities for inter-professional collaboration with peer groupdepartments like Risk, Survey Outcome Support, Office of CMO, etc.Participate in operations reviews and strategy sessionsEffectively engage external healthcare organizations to promote positiverelationships and effective collaborations

  QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree preferred. Bachelor's degree in associated field required.Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in dialysis, acute care preferredMinimum of 3 years of management and/or administration experience required.CNN or CDN within one year of hireExperience in researching, updating, and maintaining clinical policies andprocedures preferred.Willingness and interest to set clinical strategyStrong communication and presentation skills, both written and ora Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor peopleDemonstrated collaboration with operational leadershipAbility to utilize resources to accomplish all key metricsDemonstrated ability to prioritize and adapt based on changing priorities anda fast-paced work environmentDemonstrated ability to proactively identify and analyze issues in theworkplace and identify and implement solutionsIn-depth understanding of clinic operations and the roles of direct caregiversin mission accomplishmentAbility to seek creative solutions to the challenges of adult learning andeducation and continuing educationSolid reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving abilitiesAbility to delegate appropriately
