Test, observe and diagnose malfunctions on equipment and machinery using tools such as voltmeters and other testing devices. Care for machinery and equipment by cleaning, adjusting parts, and lubricating moving components as needed. Study manufacturer manuals and technical drawings to troubleshoot, repair and set-up machinery (current and new). Participate in technical training to learn new equipment and processes to be able to safely perform all maintenance functions. Fabricate metal pieces as needed to create or repair new parts. Assemble equipment or repair broken parts as needed. Assist Manufacturing Engineer with projects, equipment specifications and repair parts. Operate Scissor lifts, boom lifts and forklifts as needed following all Safety procedures and qualifications. Qualifications: 3+ years of Maintenance Mechanic experience. Preferred in the manufacturing setting. Certificates or diploma in Industrial Maintenance, or similar. Ability to read blueprints/schematics. Ability to use hand tools, power tools and tape measure. Basic understand of hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, CNC controls and PLCs. Strong skills in the following: verbal and written communication, math and computer skills. Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance on a regular basis, lift, climb, kneel, pull, and bend throughout 8-hour shift. We are an equal opportunity employer.
