　　Amazon Web Services (AWS) internships are full-time (40 hours/week) for 12 consecutive weeks during summer. By applying to this position, your application will be considered for Arlington, VA.

　　This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain/maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph at the conclusion of the internship.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　• Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.

　　• Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.

　　• Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with a graduation conferral date between December 2024 and September 2025

　　• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　• Knowledge of the syntax of languages such as Java, C/C++ or Python.

　　• Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis.

　　Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $42.50/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $96.15/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
