Our client is looking for a Business Object Developer on a 12-month contract in Irving, TX. Will oversee the day-to-day activities of software developers or support teams. Will oversee quality assurance reviews. Will ensure project completion and user satisfaction. Will provide guidance and training to assigned team.

Required Skills & Experience
High School Graduate/GED.
8 years of related Software Development experience.
5 years of Senior Software Development experience.
3 years of specialized programming relative to program needs.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle Specific knowledge for IT project management.
Ability to assess and estimate costs associate with software and hardware expenses associated with software development.
Experience leading a team of intermediate or senior development resources to provide successful project delivery and an efficient and effective operating environment.?
Experience working with various SDLC methodologies and cross-functional teams (Application Owners; Architects; Developers; Business Leadership; Business Analysts).
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, ETL processes, query design in Oracle/SQL/HANA, and report development.
Strong knowledge of SAP Business Objects systems, including Universe design, implementation, customization, and system architecture, as well as knowledge of SAP best practices and methodologies.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality results.
Experience working in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of taking solution ownership.
Able to pay close attention to complex detail and understand written and oral instructions.
High level of self-motivation PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.

Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree major in Information Systems or Computer Science.What You Will Be Doing
Oversee development or support of system specifications through interaction with business users, IT project managers, program managers and IT programming staff.
Oversee design, development, maintenance, testing and debugging of software development code, FTP file transmission and job scheduling tasks.
Assist in projecting software and hardware score, requirements, costs, and general software project management.
Oversee the work of software developers, project managers and system analysts as needed to manage the software development life cycle.
Provide guidance and training to team.
Prepare status reports to department manager.
Ensure successful completion of projects in conformance to project goals and requirements.
Ensure projects are in conformance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure proactive and cooperative relationships exist within the project team.
Remain accessible to project team members.
Keep up to date with technology changes and direction.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Support the organization's quality program(s).
Supervisory Responsibilities
Administer company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.
