Job Description
An oil & gas client in downtown Houston is looking for an Analyst to join their Midstream Land team. This team works closely with groups such as contracts, engineering, projects, and operations. This individual will be primarily responsible for analyzing documents, performing due diligence, stakeholder engagements, and land payments. This will be a true analysis role will need to be able to read and analyze land documents, work closely with different internal teams and stakeholders on different assignments, perform renewals and work with different parishes and counties to renew those documents, and performing due diligence work, which consists of interpreting documents, putting data in spreadsheets to capture pertinent information, etc. This person will be addressing routine ROW related issues, typically in support of 3rd Party Inquiries for the asset and may involve business, legal or operational consequences to Company assets. They will be negotiating coordinating with private property owners and other utility companies for the acquisition of standard easements, leases, franchises, access agreements, damage releases and assignments. They may be initiating or aiding in the property transfer process. This person is accountable for forecasting the cost of maintenance and renewal of easements/franchises or other legal instruments enabling the client to conduct business.
Skills and Requirements
Experience in land analysis
7+ years of heavy midstream field admin experience (land payments, working with land agreements, due diligence)
Understanding of midstream projects from beginning to close-out
Understanding of SAP
Familiar with Quorum null
