Aggreko are currently looking for a Labour Scheduler to join our team in Townsville.
Reporting to the Service Planning Manager, this role will be a key part of our business as you’ll be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the labour requirements to meet our customers’ needs including; commissioning, decommissioning, on-site breakdowns and the preventative maintenance of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities
Works with customers, sales and operations to understand the scope of field service requirements related to commissioning & install, decommissioning, site visits, breakdowns, onsite monitoring, and preventative maintenance
Optimizes the scheduling of technician resources to meet business priorities and deliver technician productivity to set KPIs
Plans and schedules technician time to meet customer service requirements, while ensuring control of working time with reference to safety of the technician.
Reports and collaborates with support areas on the Service Schedule for the field service technicians in consultation with Senior & Service Technician.
Utilises our new system and technologies to efficiently plan, coordinate and dispatch Technicians based on work activity type, customer site locations and access limitations, Technician skill set, current job status and their location.
Liaises with Workforce Leader, Operations Managers and Team Leaders to ensure scheduling requirements are met. Identifies where work demands exceeds manpower availability and takes the appropriate action based on collaborative discussions.
Identifies opportunities for additional customer charges based on actual services provided against services quoted. Liaise with customer service / sales to agree cost variations and charges to customer
Where necessary participates in the preparation and estimation of technical resource requirements
Ensures customer’s location specific safety requirements including inductions and certifications are adhered to whilst dispatching technician resource for attendance
About You
Technically competent in the definition of technical requirements, technical skills required, safety requirements.
Expert in the definition of labour requirements, including skills sets required and quantification of time in the preparation, installation and commissioning of a solution to provide a robust solution for the customer
PC literary in a Microsoft environment and ERP system
Proven Customer focus with a strong sense of urgency for creative solutions
Proven acute attention to detail
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced stressful environment
Skilled at multi-tasking
Excellent inter-personal skills Collaborative style with decisive, results-oriented approach
Ability to self-direct and self-manage
