　　Job Description

　　Our Ireland Roads Team currently has a vacancy for a Principal Active Travel Consultant within our Dun Laoghaire office following continued growth of the workload and the team.

　　We are looking to grow this team with individuals who have a sound technical background, good communication skills, and that share our enthusiasm and determination to develop our business and deliver for our key clients.

　　The candidate will be expected to lead and deliver on our portfolio of active travel schemes . The role will suit a self-motivated individual who is aspiring to take a lead role in project delivery and manage dynamic teams delivering high quality projects.

　　They will have experience of working collaboratively as part of a team developing a range of local and national schemes or similar major infrastructure projects and will have been directly responsible for delivering scheme design packages and coordinating input from other disciplines. The candidate will ideally have experience of working on urban schemes and dealing with the associated challenges.

　　Projects

　　Our current portfolio of works comprises a diverse mix of local and national Active Travel projects for major Clients including BusConnects in Dublin and Cork, Greenway projects, multiple active travel and bus priority schemes in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin City, Fingal, Cork and Galway amongst other local authorities.

　　Minimum Requirements

　　Experience of supporting delivery of infrastructure through the Irish statutory processes

　　Experience of design of schemes in an urban setting

　　Significant technical design experience across a range of disciplines to National Cycle Manual (or similar international cycle design guidelines), TII Standards and DMURS or similar transferable international experience
