We have exciting opportunities for a Junior Software Engineer [C++] to join our Engineering Team at McKinney, TX!

The ideal candidate’s duties will include:
Design, implement, code, test, document, optimize and support systems integration in support of mission critical advanced surveillance and targeting system solutions.
Getting involved from requirements development to flow down process across design, code, integration, and test of software into a large software baseline and large systems.
Work occasional overtime to support critical program events.
Willing to travel < 10% of the time to support
Work onsite at McKinney, TX
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
Basic Qualifications include:
Minimum 1.5 years experience supporting and developing software systems.
Experience with C/C++ and Ada or similar
Education: Bachelor's Degree with 1.5 years of relevant software development experience
Clearance and Citizenship Requirement: Must have current/active DoD Secret Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Highly Preferred Qualifications include:
Experience developing C, C++ Code
Experience working in Agile environment
Internship(s) in product engineering or embedded software development
Academic projects in EE/CE disciplines

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
