The JP Morgan Wealth Management Lending Product organization is responsible for end-to-end product management for lending across multiple lines of businesses. Our goal is to create solutions that increase scale and profitability, attract new clients and drive advisor productivity alongside pristine controls.
The team is seeking a Senior Associate level candidate to join in a Product Delivery capacity. The ideal candidate should have a fundamental understanding of Bank and Broker-Dealer Lending with traditional securities collateral and/or bespoke custom collateral, the broader wealth management industry, securities investments, and interest rates. You will display a strong background in building relationships with core business, legal, risk, compliance, finance, marketing and technology stakeholders. You will experience managing projects of different sizes from varying levels of focus, along with strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a rapid paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
Strong project management experience writing requirements, coordinating workstreams and documenting in JIRA/Confluence.
Partner with technology teams to bring product vision to life.
Presentation and communications skills to provide regular updates to working groups including stakeholders, control partners and potentially senior leaders.
Contribute to end-to-end product roadmap initiatives designed to further enhance the Advisor and Client experience with respect to margin trading.
Develop and drive proactive solutions to improve the control framework for lending through both automation and procedures.
Participate with multi-year product roadmap and associated forecasting.
Develop product knowledge and operating model expansion initiatives for financial advisors, self-directed client as well as support staff.
Staying well-informed of industry trends, regulations, and market events with respect to margin trading.
Evaluate client and advisor feedback as needed to inform any changes to the product roadmap.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
3+ years of experience with financial Lending Products collateralized by securities assets (Broker Dealer or Bank Lending).
3+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry, or in a Product / Project Management Role supporting the Wealth Management client segment.
Understanding of the Agile product development framework.
Detail oriented with the ability to complete task on or ahead of time.
Ability to communicate effectively and work across multiple business at J.P. Morgan.
Ability to actively work within a team environment while taking individual responsibility.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Bachelor's degree required
