  Expected start date is June 6th, 2024 and will conclude on August 9th, 2024

  WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  The Sales Operations Intern you will work the Retail sales team in securing new business opportunities for CPI. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end tender process, from coordinating and tracking the Tender Life Cycle Management processes (i.e. submission of tenders, improvement of tender management processes and providing data driven insights into tender performance). The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful tender submissions. This role involves providing valuable feedback to product development, field service, sales and marketing teams.

  You will gain exposure to:

  Preparation of project bids/tenders and standardizing tender templates and documentation

  Overseeing the compilation and, when necessary, drafting high-quality proposals, bids, and tender responses to ensure professional, prompt, and compliant handling

  Monitoring deadlines and proactively engaging in contract negotiations’ follow-ups

  Maintaining ongoing communication with the Sales and Customer Experience Department to stay informed about Tender criteria and status

  Creating and managing internal documents related to the tendering process, including tracking management approval for tendering and contracting actions.

  Driving continuous improvement in the tender management process and consequently facilitating and driving improved commercial decision making. Work with Customer Experience to perform analytics on tender performance, SLA, KPI and Dashboards. Prepare insights and share with respective Business Leaders for decision making.

  WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  Junior or Senior student majoring in Business, Marketing or a related major

  Exposure to payment systems or related technology is a plus
