JOB REQUIREMENTS: Starting Rate of Pay: \$19.94 / hour Work Hours: M-F5:00pm - 8:00pm POSITION OVERVIEW: Transport freight across dock areato/from trailers for loading to trailers. ESSENTIAL JOBDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Perform freight handling using appropriatemotorized and manual equipment, including but not limited to: forklift,pallet jack and hand truck 2. Verify documentation matches freightdescription (e.g. type, weight, hazardous materials), using currentelectronic or manual system 3. Secure freight inside trailers usingappropriate tools and supplies (e.g. pallets, straps, rope) 4.Recoup/repair damaged freight when necessary 5. Verify and completerequired documentation and reports 6. Assist customers with freight andfreight documentation as needed 7. Perform hostling duties if required8. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as companypolicies/procedures 9.
