Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore,candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead,and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeepingstandards at all times.

Responsibilities of the may include but are not limited to:

Preparation of proposal layout, description, timeline, RFQs,specifications and budgets for capital and other large projects

Obtain, review, compare, and negotiate contractor quotes

Updating and creation of plant and equipment drawings, working withdocument management systems

Hands-on work with area teams to troubleshoot plant issues, interpretand explain drawings

Design of small structures and improved parts/equipment

Knowledge of current codes, regulations, and standards in variousdisciplines

Minimum Qualifications:

Four year degree

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ Years of experience in leading cross functional projects, includingelectrical and civil engineering in an industrial environment

Mechanical Engineering Degree
