We are one of the largest building material distributors in the North Atlanta market. We take great pride in servicing our customers in a safe and team-based environment. The primary activities in our operations department include unloading railcars/trucks of building materials, cycle counting, storing materials, breaking full units down into custom orders, and loading outbound trucks.

　　We’re looking to hire talented people that are interested in getting trained in our business. We currently have an opening for an Entry Level Forklift Operator & Order Puller (Trainee). This role will work on the day shift and require regular movement throughout the day, which means regular periods of standing, sitting, walking, and sliding/moving up to 100 pounds, and even driving heavy equipment outdoors in all types of weather.

　　Under the direction of the Site Manager, this role will focus on safely moving our product for our customers. We want talented people with at least a high school diploma, that have a drive to perform and a commitment to safety. From there, we will safely train them to pick and pull orders and operate a forklift to efficiently load and move product for our customers.

　　We are willing to pay for experience. Our starting hourly pay is based on experience, and can range from $18.00 per hour or more ( which does not include over time). The shift would start at 8:00AM and will end at 6:00PM. There is room for some overtime and you can also drive your base pay rate higher, as you master more and more skills. Medical, dental and gainsharing benefits will also apply for all eligible employees.

　　This role offers a $500 hiring bonus, paid after 90 days of successful employment with Weyerhaeuser (Successful employment includes but is not limited to-no disciplinary actions and attendance issues).
