JOB REQUIREMENTS: Company Generac Power Systems Name InstructionalDesigner Req # 63384 Employment Type Full Time Shift 1st TheInstructional Designer creates and delivers employee-based trainingcurriculum that is focused on a variety of topics including but notlimited to onboarding, professional skills, leadership skills,functional/technical skills, systems training, process training andsafety/compliance training. On occasion, may be asked to support ourBusiness Groups with product or skills training for their distributionpartners. Candidate must have experience preparing content for a varietyof delivery options including in-person, virtual, online self-directed.Candidates must also possess excellent computer skills and communicationskills and work well independently and collaboratively. Candidates mustalso possess proficient design tools and computer skills includingArticulate Storyline, Adobe audio/video editing and Microsoft OfficeSuite. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Attend meetings, gatherspecifications, and ask questions to understand and apply allrequirements for deliverables. Work with subject matter experts, atvarious levels of the organization, to obtain objectives, content, andagreement with maximum efficiency and professionalism Design and developtraining materials using blended, adult learning principles/methodologies, and established team standards and best practices. Keyclassroom curriculum consists of fully illustrated visual presentations,learner\'s guides, job aids, role-play exercises and handouts. Onlinecurriculum development includes preparing content for audio recordingand editing, creating visual elements and supporting the developmentteam by working with authoring software such as Articulate 360 and Adobeaudio/video editing as needed. Manage and maintain curriculum, materialsand process documentation as needed or requested. Oversee trainingprogram implementation and execution.
