  As a DCS Branch Manager, you will lead an operations branch within our Fighter/Bomber Cross Cutter Support Team and serve as first-level supervisor for all assigned DCS employee-owners.This is a collateral-duty position. The selected individual must be principally supporting the AFLCMC/WA/WB Directorates at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OhioEssential Job Functions:The Operations Branch Manager is the fundamental building block upon which the operational structure of the company rests.It is the manager who has the responsibility for the capture and execution of an expanding body of profitable customer funded projects.The Operations Branch Manager is responsible for mentoring the professional and ethical development of all individual contributors under their responsibility by establishing and maintaining career plans for them and treating each customer and employee in a manner consistent with the core values of DCS.The Operations Branch Manager is responsible for recruiting and retaining a staff of individual contributors to support the body of current and anticipated projects and providing these employees job security, fair compensation, and opportunities for professional development.The Operations Branch Manager will ensure that their organization supports the project execution processes necessary to plan, staff, execute, and close-out their projects to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.The Operations Branch Manager is responsible for the Branch achieving profit before corporate overhead and annual business growth consistent with the goals of the Strategic Plan.Profitability is expected to result from achieving bid fee rates on contracts and controlling direct and indirect expenses.Growth is expected to result primarily from tactical development of add-on and follow-on business.The Operations Branch Manager is responsible for submitting an annual budget for the Branch forecasting the project revenues as well as direct and indirect costs.This information will be presented to their Department Manager during an annual Planning Session prior to the start of each fiscal year, and then reviewed during an annual Performance Review at the completion of each fiscal year.Finally, the Branch Manager must be an advocate and supporter of the DCS Quality Management System (QMS) responsible for QMS compliance with emphasis on QMS process improvement.Required Skills:Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.Education, Experience, and Security Clearance requirements are commensurate with your direct labor position supporting the AFLCMC/WA/WB Directorate. At a minimum, a High School Diploma or GED, 14 years of relevant experience, and a Secret Clearance are required.Responsible for managing individual contributors and for recognizing market opportunities, planning for technology, understanding competitive positioning, and controlling business costs.•DCS Corp is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity/Male/Female/Veterans/Pay Transparency Employer
