As a Color Standards Technician, you will:
Perform visual color evaluations, while providing direction to lab and production facility.
Measure fabric samples using a Spectrophotometer.
Collect and archive color data using iColor software.
Maintain detailed color history.
Present Data in Excel and Power Point.
Build and maintain physical archives.
Present results in Daily Management.
Attend meetings, and Kaizans as needed.
The Color Standards Technician is expected to have:
A superior score on the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Test.
The ability to format and analyze data.
A strong interest in learning more about color and how it impacts product manufacturing.
The ability to comprehend and articulate color terminology.
The Skillset to analyze color data, and make decisions pertaining to color.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to stand for extended periods of time.
Education and Experience Required:
Background in Chemistry preferred.
College degree or minimum of 5 years work experience as a Lab Technician, Colorist, or other color-related position.
