ABOUT THE ROLE
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is a member of the HSE&F team at the Phoenix Sky Harbor site, providing leadership and technical support to the facility, and will report directly to the site HSE&F leader. You will drive key activities and Facilities/Maintenance performance metrics and work within robust operating and management systems, reducing risk and strengthening systems to ensure compliance with regulatory and Honeywell requirements. You will be a crucial resource for the site, supporting sustainable facilities and maintenance programs by incorporating impactful operating processes and keeping in front of leading practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall responsibility for management of the Production Maintenance Team, integrating with Facilities Management team operations
Supervises personnel and/or oversees contractor personnel in the effective performance of equipment maintenance, repair, and related activities. Plans and schedules work to support production
Responsible for site production equipment assets, preventive and predictive maintenance management / procedures. Ensure all planned and essential service maintenance is performed, documented, and audited
Strategic responsibility for capital project planning (facilities expansion, equipment upgrades), expense projects, and budget administration
Develop, implement, and sustain facilities management system programs for the Sky Harbor site
Liaison with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders
Integrate Health, Safety & Environmental processes and safe work practices into daily operations
Drive continuous improvement in Facilities/Maintenance through leadership engagement, employee involvement, worksite analysis, hazard prevention and control, and individual development plans
Develop preventative and predictive maintenance schedule and administer the use of the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Requisition machine spare parts and miscellaneous operating supplies and control storage and reordering process activities through CMMS and/or kanban system
Ensure maintenance technicians are trained and capable of complying with all state, and federal code/laws
Plan, coordinate, and generally supervise all corporate owned or leased grounds and physical properties as well as the activities involved in the maintenance
Must be willing to support any shift and/or weekends as required
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
MUST HAVE
High School diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of Facilities/Maintenance experience including production/manufacturing environment or related activities
WE VALUE
Familiarity with maintenance construction safety practices. (Hazardous Energy Control, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, NFPA 70E, Compressed Gasses, Machine Guarding)
Mechanical & Electrical Troubleshooting skills
Wastewater Treatment experience
Passionate about achieving excellence in facilities/maintenance
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong problem solving and leadership skills/mindset
Bachelor's degree
