Description A highly respected client has an open role for a Benefits Administrator. The benefits administrator will design and implement the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs. Common operations in this benefits administrator role will involve researching alternative benefits programs, implementing enhancements to current programs, and overseeing all general tasks associated with benefits administration. 　　Major responsibilities

　　Partner regularly with accounting department

　　Create benefit appropriate programs such as insurance, wellness etc.

　　Ensure organization complies with applicable government regulations

　　Support administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes

　　Administer leaves of absence and process claims or requests (medical operations, worker's compensation etc.)

　　Oversee transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration

　　Lead enrollments and determine employee eligibility

　　Assess and interact with all our service providers

　　Take charge of daily benefits processing

　　Ensure employees are aware of their benefit options

　　Keep appraised of employee benefits plans and vendors Requirements - Knowledge of benefits contract language

　　Proficiency with office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

　　Hands-on experience with data analysis

　　3+ years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience

　　Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or similar relevant field

　　Excellent communication and organization skills
