The Position
The Manager of Field Systems CRM (Customer Relationship Management) will be a member of the Veeva CRM Field Operations team at Novo Nordisk Inc., (NNI). This individual will assist the implementation and deployment of innovative solutions in Veeva CRM that drive field effectiveness, efficiency, and enablement across multiple therapeutic areas. This individual must collaborate with key stakeholders to understand, address, and present solutions to meet business priorities within Veeva CRM. This requires building and maintaining strong relationships across Commercial functions to influence and shape novel solutions and drive operational excellence.
Lead Veeva CRM Life Cycle Management (LCM) activities include release management and issue/inquiries management, etc. This includes determining improvement and technological advancement to systems as well as coordinating RFPs, gathering requirements, developing process and UX flows, and working very closely with IT and vendors on system development, testing, and deployment. Assists with Veeva CRM initiatives for NNI Field Forces which includes: Cardiometabolic Sales, Rare Diseases Sales, Educators, Market Access, and Field Medical. Provide strategic guidance to internal stakeholders as it relates to the use and advancement of Veeva CRM. In addition, the role will identify and promote best practices for the support and management CRM. Manage Veeva CRM related projects in close collaboration with key stakeholders from within and outside NNI. Serve as a subject matter expert of Veeva CRM and partner with Field Systems Training and Education to provide training content and execute training strategies. Asssits with Veeva Business administration, ad-hoc reporting, and support Veeva CRM day to day operations.
Relationships
Reports to the Senior Manager of Field Systems, CRM. Interacts intensively with members of the Field Operations, Information Technology, Medical Operations, Sales Execution and Operations, Sales Leadership, Employee Experience, Sales Representatives, Marketing, Market Access Operations, Legal, HR, and Compliance. Other relationships include interactions with external partners, which include: Veeva, vendors, consultants, and information technology developers.
Essential Functions
Contribute to and help shape the Veeva technology roadmap by working with internal and external partners to prioritize and assessing needs throughout the organization
Member of the Veeva Change Advisory Boards (CAB) collecting and soliciting key stakeholder input and feedback to define business value and priorization. Partners with the Sr. Manager, Field Systems CRM to manage Veeva CRM Release schedules based on the technology roadmap
Closely collaborates with various field operations teams and internal stakeholders such as legal and compliance to identify necessary changes and proper usage of Veeva CRM
Partner closely with IT to facilitate Veeva CRM releases which include requirement gathering, visual process flows, prioritization, release planning, testing, training, and rollout
Proficient in gathering business requirements, process flows and uses cases
Support Veeva phase enhancements after implementation Go-Live
Partnering with IT to implement new system capabilities and solutions
Leads quality control and internal testing of CRM releases and updates
Assist in training home office Veeva users and manage system access
Identifies impact of changes required to downstream systems such as Commerical Data Warehouse and BI systems
Physical Requirements
Less than 10% overnight travel required.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant experience required
A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience required. Experience in Veeva CRM, Field Support, and Field Operations within the Pharmaceutical industry is required
Experience from working on large scale systems projects within the pharmaceutical industry highly preferred
Advanced proficiency with MS Office Tools
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a matrixed environment
Is proactive, successful in prioritization and able to efficiently get things done
Ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements
