Position Purpose: The Electrical Engineer II will engage in a broad range ofelectrical engineering activities as a member of a diverse, technical teamworking to design the next generation of satellite technologies & satellitecomponents.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $135,000

Job Responsibilities:
Design circuit card assemblies (perform schematic capture & circuitanalysis PCB layout design or design) for complex space grade electronicsproduUse a variety of EDA tools to analyze and simulate electronics designs. Someof the common tools we use are Altium Designer, LTSpice, Siemens HyperLynxSI/PIWork in a fast-paced team environment on both R&D and production projects.Complete tasks with evolving requirements. Demonstrate strong ownership of thedesign process and an ability to work primarily independently.Test hardware in a laboratory environment with common lab equipment such asoscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters.Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Assembly, Test,Flight Software & FPGA, program management teams and other specializedteams as needed to develop highest quality, reliable hardware for ourcustomersOther responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications/Education:
BS degree, or higher in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & ComputerEngineering2+ years of electrical engineering design experience with a BSEE, advanceddegree may count as experience.Strong ability to communicate with other team members, engineeringleaders, and internal/external customers through written and verbal means.Experience using Altium Design (or equivalent) for schematic capture orPCB layoutExperience with digital, analog, and mixed signal electronicstechnologies. Examples include power conversion electronics, digitalprocessing (SoC &FPGA) communication interfaces (RS422/RS232,SPI, I2C), analog signal conversion and samplingExperience designing for harsh or mission critical environments including oneof aerospace, space, automotive, or medical industriesExperience designing to industry standards (such as EMI/EMC) MIL-STD-461or NASA GEVS GSFC-STD-7000Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education
