Actalent is looking for a MEP Specialist
Description:
This person would oversee the installation of chillers, CRAH units, split systems, program balancing systems to allow airflow from main building to a remote building, and be responsible for testing and balancing. When this person isn’t doing these items would also be cross trained on the following:
MEP Roles and Responsibilities:
Site Coordination:
Outside of VA, the MEP coordinates the weekly efforts of the FSRs:
If there is a lead FSR, the MEP typically works closely with the Lead FSR -- Lead FSR should be doing most of the previous 3 steps
Communicates with each (APC, SqD, ASCO, DE) PM to review resource requirements / 2 week look ahead
Work with incoming FSRs to get them working on SE priorities.
Communicate with the GC and customer on a daily / weekly basis.
Site Facility:
Trailer rental (if necessary)
Internet
Water / Sewer
Gang box (if necessary)
Attend Meeting (Hopefully freeing FSRs to focus on their work tasks)
Construction Status Meeting Cx Meetings
LOTO Permit meetings/LOTO permits
PQMs (procurement, installation, data dumps / uploads, migration)
We should allow the MEP to own this
TMS
Comms card configuration
Review / identify issues
Test sensors with heat / etc.
Cx Script Support / Coordination
The MEP is there to support the FSR.
The MEP spends a lot of time with the FSRs to get them comfortable with the script / required steps. – Often, the FSRs change – sometimes weekly.
3rd party support
Any EC trade requirements (if anything needs to be replaced, installed, removed, etc. that fall under SE scope)
3rd party FSR support
Compass issue tracking / updates / closing (at about ½ the sites)
Script / MOP Development
We develop and work with Microsoft to get them reviewed / approved.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Needs to be able to travel. Will be going to any of these states to help with the production and installations of these Data Centers with Microsoft (WA, AL, AZ, VA, TX, FL or PA)
5 to 10 years experience
Someone with a mechanical/electrical experience
Will be assisting in computer & generator replacement.
Skills= Switchgear, UPS (Systems), Commissioning, Generators, Chillers, CRAH units. Anything Data Center related
Will be using Procor software for daily logs, RFI's, submittals. (They do help train in this as well)
They use MICROSOFT PROJECT for scheduling purposes.
