Description Robert Half has an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Receivable (A/R) detail oriented at a growing company. In this role, you will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. 　　Corroborate documents and codes

　　Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers

　　Provide information, as requested to the sales/marketing department, shippers, customers, and other stakeholders

　　Support, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values and culture of the organization

　　Identify delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment

　　Compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports and take care of payments in compliance with GAAP

　　Perform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks

　　Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans Requirements - 1+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

　　General proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred

　　Strong analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

　　Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field preferred

　　Well-founded grasp of Great Plains (GPAC)

　　Credit Memo experience

　　Experience with Billing Functions

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Invoice

　　Proven knowledge of Purchase Orders

　　Strong familiarity with billing

　　Practical knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains Accounting

　　Billing Collection experience

　　General familiarity with Microsoft Great Plains Accounting

　　ERP system experience
