  At AIG, technology is at the heart of everything we do, from underwriting risks to processing claims. The Information Technology team equips our colleagues with the latest tools to complete their work efficiently and with the highest standards of excellence. The team is responsible for shielding the company’s systems from security risks, while designing technology strategies that enable AIG’s businesses to achieve their goals. AIG’s Information Technology functions include enterprise architecture, software and systems engineering, cybersecurity, and technology risk and compliance.

  About the role

  As the Director of Privilege Access Management (PAM), you will provide strategic direction and leadership for AIG’s PAM program with an in-depth knowledge of PAM technologies, processes and best practices. You will be responsible for leading the strategy and implementation activities for PAM and for end-to-end architecture, design, engineering, delivery, and support for Privileged Access Management products and services. This role will report directly to the Head of Identity and Access Management.

  Manage AIG PAM solution and products across environments

  Support the multi-year cloud transformation journey that includes operationalizing the required technology foundations in a hybrid multi-cloud environment

  Drive the transformation of AIG PAM solution and the increased onboarding of privileged accounts

  Stay current on technologies and industry trends in the areas of responsibility and manage vendor relationships

  Manage contractors with vendors for services and licenses partnering with appropriate teams

  Drive strategy and roadmap for PAM and supporting technologies

  Ensure environments are current with patches and refreshes coordinating with appropriate teams.

  Ensure availability, scalability, stability for PAM solution

  Manage vendor relations

  Evaluate, select and implement PAM related technologies to meet business requirements and security standards.

  Lead the design, implementation and execution of PAM projects.

  Lead the management of the day-to-day operations of the PAM solution, ensuring it is running efficiently, effectively and securely.

  Partner with controls team and maintain PAM audit controls to align with AIG standards ensuring on-time testing completion and submission for controls

  Research and bring forward industry best practices that could benefit the enterprise

  Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, technology teams and vendors.

  Provide regular reporting and performance metrics to senior management on the PAM program.

  What we’re looking for

  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.

  8+ years of experience in Information Security with at least 5 in Privileged Access Management.

  8+ years in a leadership role.

  In-depth knowledge of PAM technologies and solutions (Cloud and on-prem).

  Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP IAM and PAM concepts.

  Advanced understanding of privileged user life cycle management and controls around privileged access.

  Experience with troubleshooting issues with PAM solutions and applications.

  Sound understanding of regulatory requirements and standards such as GDPR, FISMA, PCI, HIPAA, SOX, FICA, etc.

  Ability to guide teams through complex issues and drive resolution for issues that arise within complex and high-risk applications.

  Ability to effectively translate technical information between vendors, IT management and other internal and external IT teams.

  Ability to work with all levels of management to define requirements associated with PAM services, incorporating security best practices.

  Ability to build project plans, translate directives, and present project deliverables to upper management.

  Advanced understanding of the broader impact of Information Security from a business perspective.

  Experience managing global teams that include employees and vendors.

  Experience managing vendors and driving SLAs.

  Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals.

  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop solutions.

  Relevant industry trainings and/or certifications.

  The base salary range for this position in Denver is $175,000-$200,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
