The Director of Marketing, Retirement and Workplace will collaborate with the Retirement and Workplace business leadership, sales, marketing and product teams to develop, refine and implement marketing strategies, campaigns and events that foster client growth, create lead generation opportunities and enhance brand awareness among financial advisors, asset managers, third party administrators and record keepers, as well as relevant trade associations and industry influencers.
They will have the ability to thrive in a matrixed environment and confidently lead through influence while navigating multiple stakeholders to meet business priorities and revenue goals. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have proven B2B marketing communications experience, preferably in the retirement, wealth, or asset management industries coupled with the ability to deliver unique experiences, campaigns, thought leadership and events executed with measurable success.
This person will report to the Vice President of Regulatory and Governance Marketing and partner with her on key strategic marketing initiatives. They will also represent marketing and report progress at key business, product and sales leadership meetings.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the marketing and strategic go-to-market initiatives across the Retirement and Workplace business, which includes Fi360 and Matrix products and solutions, to align with business priorities, growth strategies and sales objectives.
Design and deliver high-impact integrated marketing programs and campaigns partnering with the product, sales and marketing teams and marketing centers of excellence including Brand, Events, Digital, Social, PR and Corporate Communications.
Support customer growth and acquisition targets through lead generation, nurturing and conversion strategies and deploying an appropriate mix of digital and in-person marketing tactics, as well as account-based marketing and partnership marketing.
Understand brand management strategies to support the roll out of new messaging at the brand and product level.
Leverage deep industry knowledge and understanding of the Retirement and Workplace target audiences and sub-segments to clearly articulate client benefits, our value proposition and capabilities throughout messaging, sales enablement materials, presentations and digital assets.
Create effective sales enablement tools that clearly communicate the new Retirement and Workplace messaging and collaborate with sales leadership to ensure adoption across the wider sales team.
Understand the competitive landscape, voice of the customer and emerging industry trends in marketing, retirement, wealth and fiduciary regulations in order to lead the development and delivery of strategic thought leadership initiatives.
Develop and implement marketing and communications plans for the Broadridge 360 Advisor Summit (https://events.broadridge.com/event/2785a37e-76cd-40eb-b4bd-c958fe7ac593/websitePage:f61abc9a-11dc-4e2e-8167-25eaad5cd7f6) , continuing education webinar program as well as select industry tradeshows and conferences to drive brand awareness, lead generation and business development opportunities.
Manage the marketing budget and accurately track expenses to ensure transparency and deliver regular reports to business, finance and marketing leadership.
Direct, nurture and coach the Retirement and Workplace team Marketing Specialist and Hubspot consultant on the team to ensure alignment on priorities and support delivery of measurable results.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (with a concentration in marketing or strategy); Masters degree a plus.
8+ years of financial services or fintech marketing experience, preferably in retirement, wealth, or asset management, with an emphasis on lead generation, acquisition and client retention.
Extensive experience in the ideation and execution of high-impact B2B marketing campaigns, programs and sales tools that drive engagement and deliver measurable results.
Well-versed in digital, SEM, product, content and partner marketing with knowledge of key content, digital and social metrics and attention to detail in analyses, deliverables, and communications.
Confident influencer with great interpersonal and relationship building skills and proven ability to achieve alignment across a range of diverse views, interests and priorities.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Hubspot operations, analytics and dashboards as well as overall email marketing strategies and best practices.
Creative problem solver who can collaboratively define and drive campaign execution with a cross-functional team of stakeholders as well as roll up your sleeves as needed to deliver results.
Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills with the ability to tailor tone and themes for diverse target audiences, as well as internal senior executives.
Strong project management skills coupled with the ability to organize, prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and matrixed environment.
Performance metric focused able to apply analytical rigor to measure marketing performance, including impact, influence and contribution to pipeline.
People management experience including attracting and developing talent.
Highly proficient in all things Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel; experience with Hubspot, Salesforce, Percolate, Eloqua, Sprinklr and On24 is a plus.
Salary range $130,000.00- $150,000.00. Bonus Eligible.
