Our values are transparency, inclusivity, equity, compassion, visibility, stability, and accountability.Areas of Responsibilities:The Development Coordinator works to achieve UWLCA?s fundraising goals by providing resource development expertise, strategic accounts management, and hands-on fundraising and marketing tasks. The following duties are representative of the responsibilities of this position. These assignments may change as the needs and priorities of the organization evolve.Annual Campaign and other Fundraising Events? 65%Develop, implement, and lead the annual workplace giving campaign, monthly donor programs, and fundraising efforts. Personally engage in the tri-county area, to build on existing relationships and develop new partnerships. Understand and use our donor management system to track yearly fundraising goals and help in relationship building with donors. Incorporate other fundraising efforts throughout the year including mailings, social media promotions, and special events. Recruit and supervise volunteers to assist in local fundraising efforts. Take the lead on planning and attending networking events, fundraisers, and community information tabling activities.Individual Donor Development and Stewardship ? 25%Develop and implement an individual donor engagement plan to recruit, retain and grow donors outside of the workplace campaign. Conduct face-to-face meetings with current donors and prospects, expanding United Way's influence and revenue. Be outgoing, vocal and a positive influencer in promoting the work of the United Way. Bring passion to your job and the ability to share your passion with others.Marketing ? 10%Responsible for the marketing of all public, campaign, cultivation, and recognition events. Oversee execution of marketing, media relations (radio, TV and print news), social media, website, printed and digital advertising, public education, and direct mail programs. Maintain United Way Worldwide brand compliance.Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Required:Dynamic, energetic, personable, outgoing, willing to talk to strangers, willing to engage influential people in the community. Well organized, able to set priorities under pressure. Sincere commitment to the work of the United Way. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Education and/or ExperienceBachelor?s degree in related field preferred; related experience in development, including gift solicitations, stewardship, donor recognition and administration.Employment Status: Full Time Non-Exempt Permanent, 40 hrs./wk.Salary Range: $20-$24 per hour with full benefits packageUWLCA is an equal opportunity employer.
