Job Description

　　As a Software Application Development Engineer on our Enterprise Data Governance Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that involve software development and data governance practices. You would also be interacting with data architects, solution architects, data stewards, system analysts to understand the data architecture and apply data governance practices through glossary and metadata management and other features. Your primary responsibilities will include:• Work closely with Enterprise Architect and Tech Lead to understand the requirements• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seek requirements clarifications and/or details• Develop data integration processes using various data governance tools to ingest data from source systems• Integrate the ingested data with the display portals and Power BI reports for their use by customers• Document technical specifications, coding processes, and configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing.• Participate and contribute in various Agile team ceremonies including DSU, Release planning, etc.• Perform application maintenance and production support as part of the team

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum Qualifications: • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.• 4 years of application development experience• Experience in any one of Java, Python, or any other scripting language• SQL knowledge• Basic knowledge of data lineage• Basic knowledge of data governance concepts• Good analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:• Collibra (or any other data governance tool) Solution Development experience• Data Governance Workflows development experience

　　This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
