Who We Are
Manufacturing and Product Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated individual to work in the challenging environment of product development. The product development engineers in this team work on architecture definitions, circuit and logic design and development recommendation for DFT implementations, verification and validation model development, functional and structural test content development with teams worldwide. This team is responsible to maintain Intel's design and manufacturing quality of baseline product to the external world.
Who You Are
Job responsibilities for the Product Development Engineer may include, but are not limited to:
Collaborates with designers to drive design for test (DFT) features enabling efficient production testing of new products.
Evaluates new IP designs on ATE and works with the design and DFx teams to debug functionality and performance issues to root cause.
Reviews test plans with design, conversion of presilicon content to patterns, and additional content development as needed, reviews HVM data with design to identify and rootcause the issues.
Evaluates new designs on automatic test equipment (ATE) and works with the design, DFx, and product development teams to debug functionality and performance issues to root cause.
Performs ATE device characterization, utilizes that data to define datasheet specifications and performs yield analysis.
Collaborates with designers to drive design for test/debug/manufacturing (DFT/DFD/DFM) features enabling efficient production testing of new products.
Qualifications
The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of PDE experience or Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of PDE experience.
Relevant experience should be concentrated in the follow areas:
Strong knowledge of ATPG, various fault models, fault grading
DFT logic generation, integration, and verification
Post Silicon/ATE Bring-Up Support
Enable module development and Test program Integration.
Support power-on activities and post power-on customer screening and characterization.
RTL/GLS Debug
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Semiconductor testing
Experience with Semiconductor device physics

Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) is responsible for test development across product segments, supporting 95% of Intel's revenue. We deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component/physical debug capabilities to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
